OpenAI has officially introduced a dedicated ChatGPT application for Windows, bringing the power of artificial intelligence to desktop users. This development marks a new era in human-AI interaction, making it easier than ever to interact with popular language models directly from the desktop.
But the catch is that the early version of the app is currently only available to ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users, arriving ahead of a “full experience” later in the year, OpenAI says.

How to download ChatGPT app
Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the option that reads ‘Test an early version of the Windows app
Step 2: You will then be forwarded to the Microsoft Store, where you will need to click on "Download."
Step 3: Once downloaded, you'll be prompted to sign in and should be able to start conversing with ChatGPT!
